An all-mail ballot election will be held April 3 through May 2 for voters residing within the boundaries of the San Lucas Union School District to decide on a school bond measure. This is an all-mail ballot election; in-person voting assistance will be available.

Ballot Question

To construct a new track and shade structures, replace portable classrooms and other outdated infrastructure; acquire and improve school facilities; and improve the quality of education; shall San Lucas Union School District's measure be adopted to issue $3,600,000 in bonds at legal interest rates, estimated levies of approximately 6¢ per $100 assessed value, generating on average $240,000 annually while bonds are outstanding, with annual reports, no money for salaries and all money improving local schools?

Can I vote in person?

Although this is an all-mail ballot election, in-person voting opportunities will be available at:

• Monterey County Elections, 1441 Schilling Place – North Building, Salinas:

  • April 3 – May 1, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

  • Tuesday, May 2, 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
